LIMITED WARRANTY

What This Warranty Covers

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in outerwear manufactured by Columbia Sportswear Company (Outerwear). This includes defects in the zipper pulls, zippers, snaps, stitching, dye bleeding, leaking of Columbia's waterproof Outerwear line, and any other Outerwear defect that may occur under normal wear. Columbia does not warranty, and is not responsible for the damages caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, the natural breakdown of materials over time, or problems that may be reasonably expected with normal wear or failure to follow Outerwear care instructions.

How Long Does This Warranty Last

This warranty lasts as long as you, the original purchaser, own the Outerwear. Coverage ends if you sell or transfer the Outerwear.

How To Get Warranty Service

You may seek resolution directly through the retailer where you purchased the Outerwear. In many cases, the retailer will be able to assist you. Outerwear must be cleaned prior to shipment according to its care instructions. Please include a cover letter with your name, address, daytime phone number and a brief description of the problem. A copy of your receipt or proof of purchase may also be required.

What Will We Do

The Columbia Sportswear Warranty Department will inspect the Outerwear at no charge to you. If the Warranty Department determines, in its sole discretion, that the Outerwear has defect covered under this warranty, we will repair or replace it within approximately 4 weeks. If the defective Outerwear is not repairable and an identical product is not available, we will replace it with a garment of comparable style and colour at our discretion. If the Warranty Department determines, in its sole discretion, that there is no defect covered under the warranty, the Outerwear shall be returned to the retailer at point of purchase.

How Local Law Applies

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

COLUMBIA'S AND YOUR MAXIMUM LIABILITY TO THE OTHER, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LIABILITY UNDER ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE YOU HAVE PAID FOR THE OUTERWEAR. NEITHER YOU OR COLUMBIA IS LIABLE TO THE OTHER IF YOU OR IT ARE UNABLE TO PERFORM DUE TO EVENTS YOU OR IT ARE UNABLE TO CONTROL, SUCH AS ACTS OF GOD, OR FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OF USE, OR OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES HOWEVER CAUSED WHETHER FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE OTHER THAN THOSE DAMAGES WHICH ARE INCAPABLE OF LIMITATION, EXCLUSION OR RESTRICTION UNDER APPLICABLELAW. What This Warranty Covers

Outerwear must be cleaned prior to shipment according to its care instructions. Please include a cover letter with your name, address, daytime phone number and a brief description of the problem. A copy of your receipt or proof of purchase may also be required. We suggest that you send the Outerwear via a shipping service such as UPS so that the package can be tracked if necessary.

FOOTWEAR/SPORTSWEAR ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

What This Warranty Covers
This one year limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in Columbia-brand footwear and sportswear manufactured by Columbia Sportswear Company. This includes defects that may occur under normal wear. Columbia does not warranty and is not responsible for damages caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, neglect, laundering, the natural breakdown of materials over time, or problems that may be reasonably expected with normal wear of failure to follow care instructions.

How Long This Warranty Lasts
This warranty lasts for one year. Coverage ends if you sell or transfer product.

How To Get Warranty Service
You may seek resolution directly through the retailer where you purchased the product. In many cases, the retailer will be able to assist you. It is preferred that all warranties are processed via the retailer. As a last resort you may send the product directly to us if contact has been made.

If the Warranty Departments determines, in its sole discretion, that the product has a defect covered under the warranty, we will repair or replace it with approximately four weeks. If the defective product is not repairable or an identical product is not available, we will replace it with a product of comparable style and colour at our discretion.

How Local Law Applies
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. To the full extent permitted under applicable local law, this limited warranty and any disputes arising out of or in connection with this limited warranty ("Disputes") shall be governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, excluding conflicts of law principles and excluding the Convention for the International Sales of Goods. The courts located in the State of Oregon, USA shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any Disputes.
